Hear What Exhibitors Say

“Our company has been making toys for 75 years in Germany and we export them under the HABA brand for the international market. The main product line is wooden toys, furniture and facilities for children, all made under strict control and in an environmentally responsible manner. Starting from the raw material wood, we grow our trees in Germany through sustainable forestry, which means the company has to plant more trees then we cut down. The wood we use is heavier because its density is higher as the trees take more time to grow. Therefore, our products last longer. And the paints we use are water-based and solvent-free to ensure the safety of our little end-users. We developed five distributors in the Chinese mainland and Southeast Asia at the 2012 Hong Kong fair and we are happy with the results. The organiser has been attentive and responsive to our needs and requests."
Steven Lui, International Account Manager, Asia Pacific, Habermaass GmbH, Germany

“Hong Kong is a major manufacturing base for airsoft guns and our company is a leader in this market. Since airsoft guns are regarded as sporting goods that can be used for military simulation training, target practice and war games, there is no restriction on the ownership. As a result, its market has expanded rapidly to a size twice as big as that of real guns. We come to the Fair to look for exclusive distributors to channel our products into markets in Eastern Europe, South America and the Middle East. To our delight, we have received a number of enquiries from the U.S., France as well as Arab countries on the first day. The organiser has been supportive in lining up press interviews, holding receptions for networking and arranging business-matching meetings for us. We will take advantage of these activities.”
Samuel Lam, Director, PTS Management Group, Hong Kong

Hear What Buyers Say

“The young families are getting smaller with one or two children in Poland. Parents focusing more resources on fewer kids are looking for quality toys that I have managed to find in the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair. Remote-control toys, educational items and dinosaurs are high on my shopping list. My current challenge is to find suppliers of quality goods at competitive prices. That is why I came to HK Toys & Games Fair this year. It is relatively big in scale and there is a good mix of international suppliers.”
Robert Palmowski, Owner, Enjo, Poland

“The Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair is a happening place. It's big and exciting and the visit has been a learning experience for me, a SME toys retailer and importer. Now I know better what products are out there available for me to sell and grow my business. The company started less than two years ago in Singapore. We sell high-end toys, mostly made in Germany and Belgium, in our shop as well as online. People in the industry say coming HK Toys & Games Fair is a must, so here we are to check it out. We found suppliers up to our expectation of quality. On top of that, I will certainly look into the Small-Order Zone arranged by the organiser for smaller quantity buyers like myself. I will continue to walk the exhibition ground to look for niche and quality suppliers.”
Anita Tan, Director, Party & Play LLP, Singapore
