“This is our debut exhibition at the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair because we want to meet with more customers and expand the penetration of our products in different markets. Our company focuses on developing interactive toys that people use smartphones or iPads to play with. At the fair, we are highlighting our new products such as ‘Batman US Superman: Dawn of Justice’ 1:30 Magnetic Floating Remote-Controlled (RC) Batwing, The Knight Trilogy – Tumbler 1/12 Scale RC Vehicle and The Vintage Arts Series – Transformers Collection. The responses have been very encouraging. We have talked to a large number of buyers from all over the world, helping us to understand the needs of different markets and gauge buyers’ responses which inspire us to develop new products. After the fair, we’ll have further negotiations with serious buyers on shipping requirements and cooperation opportunities.”

“Creative Group operates three companies, namely Creative Toys Ltd, Orda and Small World Toys which specialise in arts and crafts and fashion items, educational toys, and baby toys respectively. We have been exhibiting at the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair for more than 15 years. It is important for us to join the fair because it is the first toys fair in the calendar year which attracts many international buyers. We launch 50 new designs at the Hong Kong fair every year. At this year’s fair, we have got in touch with new customers from Asia and Europe who are very interested in our products. In addition, we have received onsite orders from our existing customers from Germany and the Netherlands. It’s a good show.”

“Regio Toy is a major toys importer, wholesaler and retailer with 33 outlets in Hungary. We come to the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair every year because the fair offers a wide variety of high-quality toys at good prices. It is the best place for us to look for novelties to meet the needs of kids because toys have become fashionable items which last for one to two years. Currently, about half of our products are sourced from the Hong Kong fair. At this year’s fair, I am looking for arts and crafts, plush toys, educational toys and two-wheel scooters. So far, I have found six to seven new suppliers from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Thailand, and I’ll make the deals by emails after the fair.”

Our toys business is expanding at an annual growth rate of 500 percent. More and more consumers like online shopping because it’s so convenient. This is my second time visiting the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair to look for drones, educational toys, kitchen sets, die cast models and role play toys. I have found about 10 potential suppliers from the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong. For best-selling items in our market, I usually buy one container after further discussions. The Hong Kong fair is getting better and better and more international. It is the right place where I can find more exciting and original ideas.”

Gathering a record-high of more than 500 exhibitors from 30 countries and regions, this year’s Hong Kong Baby Products Fair welcomes new participating countries from Canada, Lithuania, Malta and Russia. In addition, the Korea Pavilion, with 17 exhibitors, also make its debut. Two new zones including Disposable Baby Products (Level 2 Mezzanine) and Baby Learning Toys (Hall 3 Concourse) are also launched. The fair is a one-stop sourcing platform for buyers around the world. |

“In business for more than 20 years, Biba Toys offers quality infant toys for babies 0-36 months. We are selling products under our own brand and have established strong presence in emerging markets including Argentina, Russia and Eastern Europe. With the implementation of China’s two-child policy, we also expect to see business in the Chinese mainland grow further. Hong Kong Baby Products Fair is a major trade event every year for us to meet international buyers. This year, we’ve launched new designs of infant toys carrying the theme of insects to draw more customers’ attention. We’ve received a good amount of interest from potential clients including buyers from Vietnam and Venezuela. Three buyers from the UK, France and Belgium we met last year have come again and placed OEM orders. We’re pleased with the results. This is an excellent platform to find new buyers and strengthen cooperation with customers.”

“Goodbaby is a leading provider of children’s products including strollers and car safety seats under 11 different brands. We are launching new products at Hong Kong Baby Products Fair every year to grow our business. This year’s highlight include our new car safety seats developed with honeycomb aluminum for better energy absorption and new light-weight stroller series using carbon fibre materials. This fair serves as a good launching pad for these two new designs to reach out to buyers worldwide. Many customers and new buyers have come to us and the responses are even better than last year. We already concluded US$2.6 million worth of orders with customers on the first day of exhibition. We are expanding further our presence in South America, Asia and Europe. This is our first-time visit to Hong Kong Baby Products Fair to source new products. So far, we’ve found 10-15 potential suppliers for various product categories such as strollers, highchairs, baby walkers, travel cots and toys. Further talks will be held to conclude details of cooperation and we expect to place about US$80,000 to US$100,000 worth of orders with them over the six months. This is a very nice fair and so many people from all over the world have gathered here to do business. The organiser has done a great job. Hong Kong is an amazing city and this is the place for business development. We will definitely come here.”

“Tallytate specialises in the import and wholesale business of baby care, feeding and safety products in Spain. We currently distribute 18 baby brands from Europe, USA and the Chinese mainland with products being supplied to 900 independent retail stores. Our company is planning to launch our own brand this year. That’s why I am visiting Hong Kong Baby Products Fair for the first time to source new products. So far, I’ve identified 12 potential suppliers from the Chinese mainland Korea for baby feeding and safety items. Further market research and negotiation will be conducted to explore cooperation. I hope to conclude deals with three new suppliers in the end. Initial orders will be about US$20,000 to US$35,000. This is really the best fair for us to find products and suppliers. Everything has been well organised here with professional staff support.”
