“Subsidised by the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Eduk8 Worldwide is exhibiting at the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair for the first time to promote our educational toys. Founded in 2002, our company produces high-quality and durable educational toys that make learning and education fun for all children. Our toys are exported mainly to Europe, the US and Singapore. The Hong Kong fair is an international show that provides a good platform for us to attract new customers in the Far East. We have been very busy answering enquiries from serious buyers including those from Asia and the US. With the help of the HKTDC, the fair website has generated a lot of enquiries and its business matching team has arranged many potential buyers to have meetings with us. It’s a good show.”

“In business for 36 years, our company mainly uses resin to produce high-quality miniature car models for licensed brands such as Lamborghini, Porsche, Aston Martin, Maclaren and Nissan. Our main markets include Japan, the US and Europe. Due to increased sales in China and Southeast Asia in recent years, we have joined the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair for the first time to meet with more new customers and to boost our sales in these markets. Currently, we have distributors for the Chinese mainland market and Hong Kong. As the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair is the largest show of its kind in Asia, we expect to meet with many new customers here.”
Hideyuki Uemoto, President, Make Up Co., Ltd., Japan |

“Based in the US, Historic Sales is an importer, wholesaler and retailer of die-cast models such as aeroplanes, cars, ships and military vehicles. We sell die-cast models to consumers through catalogues and our online store and also distribute them to 2,000 retail shops all over the US. I have visited the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair for five to six times. I like the fair because it is easy to get around and to find interesting products and new designs. It’s always a good place for me to meet with existing suppliers while looking for new suppliers. I have already found two new suppliers on the first day of the fair. The US toy market is good because of steady economy. I’ll place orders after collecting the details such as production schedule and quotations.”

“In business since 1982, my company is an importer and distributor of all kinds of toys and games, with the UAE, Iran and Iraq being our major markets. I visit the Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair every year to look for new products because it is an important sourcing fair for toys and games and it is the biggest fair of its kind in Asia. I am particularly interested in licensed products and eye-catching designs. I have met with existing suppliers and already found new products. I am going to look for new suppliers in the next days of the fair.”

“Lee Saem is a leading supplier of play mats and cushion products in Korea. Our products are selling in 38 countries around the world. We’re pleased to join the Korean pavilion at Hong Kong Baby Products Fair to showcase our products this year. The pavilion has created a perfect stage for Korean companies to come together for business expansion. In first day of exhibition, we’ve already secured some orders mainly for our play mats. A Thai customer placed a US$20,000 order and an Indonesia client concluded a US$35,000 contract. Another US$26,000 order was sealed with a Taiwanese customer. We’ve got very positive responses from many new buyers including those from Mexico, India, Saudi Arabia, Myanmar, Brazil, Greece and Dubai. I believe 15-20% of them will place orders in a month's time. This is a successful fair. We can always find new buyers here. That’s why we love to participate in the Hong Kong fair.”

“Hong Kong Baby Products Fair provides a valuable platform to promote our eco-diaper solution under the brand of Green Beginnings. We are taking advantage of this event to launch our new reusable diapers to international customers. The new design involves a mix of functional fabric, bamboo fabric, muslin and non-woven materials, thus improving the comfort and making it easier to wash and clean the diapers. We strive to promote green awareness and provide a total solution for customers. We’ve received strong feedback and a number of international buyers including customers from Belgium, Germany and Malta expressed keen interest in our products. This fair attracts a lot of buyers from emerging markets and really serves as a good base to promote our brand and explore new opportunities.”
Richard Lok, Managing Director, China Star Products (Trading) Ltd., Hong Kong |

“Lamprecht is the biggest baby brand in Switzerland. Our baby care products are exporting to 36 countries worldwide under the brand of bibi. This is our second-year visit to Hong Kong Baby Products Fair to find various baby feeding, safety and care accessories. We found two new suppliers from Thailand and the Chinese mainland here last year, and have developed business with them since then. This year’s visit is also rewarding. I’ve identified six to seven potential suppliers from the Chinese mainland, Taiwan and Thailand. Further discussions will be conducted and it probably will take six months to conclude deals. Everything has been well organized here. This fair is really a good place to see little baby care items all under the same roof.”
Marco Meyer, Head of Purchasing, Lamprecht Ltd., Switzerland |

“Mir Detstva is the biggest wholesaler of baby care products in Russia. I am visiting Hong Kong Baby Products Fair for the first time to meet our sourcing needs. I take this opportunity to find new suppliers and meet some existing partners we are currently working with. So far, I’ve established initial contacts with several new suppliers from Thailand and the Chinese mainland for baby feeding products and accessories. We will spend more time to negotiate terms such as details of pricing and product delivery. This is a good fair. Everything is clean and well managed. It’s so easy to navigate here. I look forward to visiting the fair again.”
