Expectations High for New Fair
Evolved from the HKTDC Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair – the largest toy industry event in Asia and the second largest in the world, the HKTDC Hong Kong Baby Products Fair presents over 300 exhibitors from 16 countries and regions, and features group pavilions representing the Chinese mainland and Taiwan.

To promote Hong Kong's babywear products among international buyers, to arouse awareness and interest in local babywear designs and to nurture design talents in the babywear industry, the fair showcases the talents of up-and-coming babywear designers with the staging of the inaugural Hong Kong Babywear Design Competition. Under the theme of ‘Blessings of Life’, all entries were judged on originality, creativity, marketability, use of fabrics and workmanship.
Apart from the champion, 1st and 2nd runner-up prizes, HKTDC also launched a ‘Green Thumb Award’, a ‘Parents’ Pick Award’ and a ‘Media’s Choice Award’. The ‘Green Thumb Award’ acknowledged the entry that incorporates the most eco-friendly elements in design, use of fabrics/accessories, production process and so on. The award presentation ceremony was held on Sunday. All winning pieces are on display at Hall 3E Concourse during the fair period.

For buyer convenience, exhibitors were grouped into themed product zones – including Baby Wear and Footwear, Baby Toys and Activities, Bedding and Furniture, Feeding and Nursery, Gift Sets, Maternity, Skincare and Bath Products, Strollers and Gear.
